I began my career at 17 through a mechanical engineering apprenticeship with a local firm. Over the next ten years, I worked across HVAC design and installation, taking projects from initial design and commercial management through to installation and commissioning. It gave me a practical understanding of how engineering businesses operate, both on site and behind the scenes.

I had always wanted to build businesses of my own. At 26, I founded a fire risk assessment company from scratch and was responsible for every part of its growth, from sales and delivery through to finance and operations. The business later merged into Life Environmental, a national compliance group with turnover of more than £10 million, where I remain a director today.

In 2024, I founded FRALUK, a UK engineering company that designs and manufactures desiccant dehumidification systems. As Sales Director, I work with customers across the UK in sectors including pharmaceutical and food manufacturing.

Soteria T1 Consulting represents the next stage of that journey. My ambition is to acquire one good engineering business at a time and build a long-term group of family-run engineering companies. For me, an acquisition is not about replacing what already works. It is about protecting the people, reputation and values behind the business, then helping it continue to grow.
